Umrah package prices in PKR: what changes the price
2 November 2026 · by Muhammad Zia Ur Rehman
Two Umrah packages leaving Islamabad on the same day can differ by forty thousand rupees per person, and both can be fairly priced. The difference is never a mystery: it comes from six things you can see on every package page. This guide explains each of them, shows today's lowest prices from our catalog, and gives you a way to compare any two offers like for like.
What the price covers
A per-person price on our site includes the Umrah visa, return air tickets from your departure city, the hotel nights in Makkah and Madinah, bus transport between the airports, the hotels and the two cities, ziyarat by bus, and a shuttle when the Makkah hotel is beyond walking distance. It does not include meals (unless the package says so), personal spending, excess baggage, laundry or travel insurance. The included and excluded lists are printed on every package page; compare those first, because an offer that looks cheaper elsewhere sometimes leaves the visa or the transport out.
1. Room type
The single biggest lever. Hotel rooms are priced per room and divided between the people in it, so the more who share, the less each pays:
- Sharing / quad (four to a room): the lowest per-person price and the one the "from" price on a package refers to.
- Triple: a little more per person.
- Double: the highest per-person price; typically tens of thousands of rupees above quad on the same package.
Families often mix: parents in a double, grown children in a quad. The pricing table on each package page shows every room type, and the Reserve button lets you pick the one you want.
2. Distance from the Haram
The second biggest lever, and the one that changes the daily experience. Hotels are described on our site by their walking distance to the Haram in Makkah and to Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah:
- Within about 500 m: you walk to every prayer in a few minutes. These hotels cost the most.
- 700 m to 1.1 km: a ten to fifteen minute walk; a good balance for most groups.
- Shuttle hotels (around 1.8 km or more): a free bus runs between the hotel and the Haram on a timetable. Lowest price, but you plan your day around the bus, which matters for the elderly and for the last ten nights of Ramadan.
We only state a distance when it is verified; a hotel without a distance on its package page is one we have not confirmed yet.
3. Season
The same hotel and airline cost more in Ramadan than in November. Prices climb through Rajab and Shaban, peak in Ramadan (expected 8 February to about 9 March 2027 for 1448H), and ease after Eid. School holidays and long weekends in Pakistan also lift demand for certain departure dates. If your dates are flexible, moving by a week or two can change the price more than changing the hotel.
4. Airline and departure city
Group fares differ by carrier and by route. Saudia and PIA fly wide-body aircraft with larger baggage allowances; Fly Jinnah and other low-cost carriers often price lower with tighter baggage rules. Departures from Islamabad and Lahore have the most choice; Sialkot, Multan and Peshawar departures save you a domestic journey but have fewer dates. The airline is named on every package, with its logo, and the flight details section shows the exact flights where the operator has published them.
5. Nights, and how they are split
A 14-night package is cheaper than a 20-night one, but not proportionally: the visa, the tickets and the transport cost the same, so the extra nights are mostly hotel cost. The split between Makkah and Madinah matters too: Madinah hotels are generally cheaper, so a package with more Madinah nights can cost less than one with the same total.
6. Comfort level
We label packages Economy, Standard or Premium from the Makkah hotel's distance: shuttle hotels are Economy, hotels close to the Haram are Premium. The label is a shortcut for factor 2, not a separate charge. Two Standard packages can still differ by airline and by the Madinah hotel, which is why the package page lists every departure of the same day side by side.
Today's lowest prices
The table below is read from our catalog as you open this page: the cheapest upcoming departure from each city, per person, lowest room type. Open any row to see its hotels, airline and the full pricing table.
How to compare two offers
Put the two packages side by side and check, in this order:
- Same room type? Compare quad with quad, double with double.
- Same inclusions? Visa, return ticket, both hotels, transport, ziyarat.
- Hotel distances in both cities, and whether a shuttle is involved.
- Nights and the split between Makkah and Madinah.
- Airline and baggage allowance.
- Price per person per night: subtract nothing, just divide the per-person price by the nights. It makes a 14-night and a 20-night package comparable.
Then ask for the quotation in writing. Our quotations state the package, the room type, the price per person and the payment terms, and the booking is confirmed only after your documents and the payment stated there.
What we do not do
We do not quote a price we cannot deliver, and we do not promise the "lowest price in Pakistan": prices change with every group and we would rather show you the current ones. Every figure on this site is per person in PKR; the USD figure is approximate. If a number on a package page and a number in your quotation ever differ, the quotation is the one that counts.
